Sara is the first and last face you see when you come into our office. As an office manager, she takes care of the business aspect of running a dentistry. That includes being a wizard with insurance—someone who is very handy to have around.
She has been with us for two years, with twelve years of experience in the dental industry, and she really does make our office a fun and inviting place for everyone! We certainly couldn’t do without her.
Sara’s educational experience is actually in psychology and child development, as well as a wide variety of continuing education courses, This combination of experience brings a unique perspective to the world of a dental office.
Outside of work, Sara’s world revolves around her family of James, Katie, and Grayson. She also enjoys reading and cooking.
Desiree is a fountain of knowledge. She has been with us for five years now and has more than twelve years of dental experience. As one of our dental assistants, she is highly trained and able to help in just about any capacity asked of her.
Just some of this training includes being certified to operate our CEREC mill, which allows us to provide convenience to our patients. She is also an expanded-function dental auxiliary as well as an expanded-function orthodontic dental auxiliary.
In a non-dental setting, Desiree is also highly certified. She recently completed her required 200 hours to become a registered yoga teacher and participates as a running coach for Portland Fit! She enjoys staying active, hiking, and spending time with her family.
Stormie has been a dental assistant with us for nine months, and we hope for many more. Her positive attitude and cheerful presence help put a smile on the face of every person who walks through the door. She really has a passion for helping people!
Stormie’s education is quite extensive. She actually started out in accounting and graduated from Clark College. She next graduated from permanent cosmetic school, after which she studied at Elite Dental Assisting Academy.
She stays busy outside of work with her family. She’s a soccer enthusiast. Stormie plays on a competitive soccer team with some friends, who all travel around to compete in tournaments. Her husband and three kids are her biggest fans!
Amy has worked for us as a hygienist for ten years. The thing she really loves about the job is the personal approach we take in our office. Amy is amazing at not only chatting with patients and helping them feel comfortable but also at remembering them and developing long-term relationships.
Amy is an OHSU alumni and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene in 1998. Since then, she’s been working hard to change lives one smile at a time.
Some other lives she’s changed are those of her family. She is married to her husband, Joe, and together they are raising their son, Noah, who is twelve. They also have two grown kids: Karah, who is eighteen, and Kaelynn, who is twenty. Whenever Amy doesn’t have her hands full with those four, she enjoys cooking, gardening, shopping, and reading.
Daniele earned her degree in dental hygiene from Clark College in 2002, and she’s been serving patients at our practice for the last sixteen years and counting. Daniele is passionate about her patient’s well-being. You will leave Daniele’s chair looking and feeling great, and you will also learn a thing or two about keeping your teeth and gums as healthy as they can be. Daniele is quick to smile and even quicker with her wit. Don’t hesitate to crack a joke or two, as Daniele will amaze you with her ability to understand what you’re saying – no matter how many fingers or instruments may be in your mouth.
Daniele grew up in the Northwest, moving to the Portland metro area in 2000 with her husband son. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She’s also thankful to live in Oregon. Rain or shine, don’t be surprised if you see her and her family on a hiking trail or walking on the beach. And in the spring and summer, you will find her in her garden, surrounded by heaps of colorful flowers.
Amanda started with us as a patient care coordinator in October 2020. We love how willing she is to help wherever she’s needed, and to learn anything the job requires. Her friendly face makes the front office feel more like home than a waiting room.
As a native from The Pacific Northwest, Amanda loves Oregon—especially during the fall! In 2016, she graduated from Portland State University where she earned a BS in Community Health, with a minor in Aging Services. We’re excited to see her experience make our dental office a better place.
When she’s not welcoming people at our front desk, Amanda loves to bake, hike, work on DIY projects, and drink all the coffee she can get her hands on. She’s also a huge Disney fan. Much like the stories she enjoys on the silver screen, Amanda had her own fairy tale romance. She married her high school sweetheart, and together with their cat, Princess, they’re working on happily ever after.
Lanae has been one of our dental hygienists since the summer of 2020. Everything about her work keeps our office running smoothly and efficiently. We already look forward to many more years of her warm approach and comprehensive attention to detail.
Lanae grew up in Illinois, as the oldest of four children, but she ended up here in Oregon for her schooling at Pacific University. In 2016 she graduated in Dental Hygiene Studies, and brings that high quality training with her to our Portland office.
Outside of work, Lanae keeps up that same busy pace. Family and friends are always top on her list of priorities, and she loves spending quality time with those who are most important to her. When she’s not with them, she enjoys crossfit, reading, and hitting the open road.
Merissa is always looking out for the good of the whole office. As of November 2020, she started work for us as both a dental assistant and an expanded-function orthodontic assistant (EFOA). She brings 17 years of dental experience with her, as well as that strong team spirit.
She studied at the Concorde Career Institute in 2003, and has been learning and improving ever since. We’re lucky to have her here, and we know all of her experience will only make our office a better place.
Merissa married her high school sweetheart, and together they have a twelve-year-old volleyball player who is the light and joy of their lives. They keep busy with their daughter’s volleyball games and love cheering her on.
They also spend time together hiking and camping in the great outdoors. When she does have time to herself, Merissa likes crafting.
Victoria has a gift for comfortable conversation, making her invaluable at our front desk. She has been a front office assistant since July 2020. You can rest assured that she’ll treat you just like family from the moment you set foot through our door.
Victoria’s work experience comes from a little bit of everywhere. She was born and raised in the United Kingdom, and since starting her family has lived in both Oregon and the Netherlands. She and her husband Dave have two kids—Luca and Ruby—as well as a labrador named Harvey.
If she sounds like a real go-getter already, you haven’t seen anything yet! Her whole family is athletic and active. They enjoy exploring new places together, and they absolutely love going to the beach, whether it be at a lake, a river, or an ocean. Luca is a competitive swimmer, and Ruby tries just about every sport available.
Victoria’s more personal hobbies include baking, fashion, and photography.
